Midd Quid isn't on the Google Play Store yet — for the pilot, you'll install it directly from a file. It only takes a minute, just follow the steps below.

Scan the code above
Open your phone's Camera app and point it at the QR code. A notification will pop up — tap it to open the link.

Let it download
A file called middquid.apk will start downloading. You'll see it appear at the top of your screen or in your Downloads app.

Open the downloaded file
Tap the download notification (or find "middquid.apk" in your Downloads app) to start installing.
Your phone may say "Blocked by Play Protect" or "Unknown app" — this is completely normal for a community pilot app. Tap Install anyway or More details → Install anyway. -

Allow this install
If asked "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source", tap Settings, then switch on Allow from this source, then tap the back arrow to return.

Tap Install, then Open
The Midd Quid app will install in a few seconds. Tap Open to launch it — you're all set!
Midd Quid is available as a TestFlight beta — Apple's official way of trying apps before they launch on the App Store. You'll need Apple's free TestFlight app first.

Get TestFlight first
Open the App Store on your iPhone, search for TestFlight, and install it. It's free and made by Apple.

Scan the code above
Open your Camera app and point it at the QR code, then tap the banner that appears. This opens your invite to Midd Quid.

Tap "Start Testing"
TestFlight will open showing the Midd Quid beta. Tap Start Testing, then Install.
You may be asked to sign in with your Apple ID — this is the same sign-in you use for the App Store. -

Open Midd Quid
Once installed, tap Open in TestFlight, or find the Midd Quid icon on your home screen like any other app.
